2. Chrome Extension

Our Chrome extension collects the following:

Active tab URL: Only when you click the extension icon or use "Track this product" — used solely to pre-fill the product URL field
Authentication token: Stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local to keep you signed in
Context menu interactions: When you right-click a link and select "Track this product"

The extension does not track your browsing history, collect data in the background, or share any data with third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

To monitor product prices and send you alerts when prices drop
To display your tracked items on your dashboard
To send price drop notifications via Telegram or email
To improve our scraping accuracy and site support

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on our servers. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Product URLs may be sent to our scraping infrastructure to fetch current prices.

5. Affiliate Links

When you click on product links through WishlistWatcher, we may append affiliate tracking tags (e.g. Amazon Associates). This does not affect the price you pay and helps support the service.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
